Welcome!
to the Thursday Night Dances of Universal Peace
Fort Collins, Colorado

Please come dance and sing with us as we celebrate the joy of oneness of all people and explore the Divine Mystery.  No experience necessary; the only requirement is an open heart.

Originally called “Sufi Dancing”, the Dances have continued to grow by incorporating dances from many other wisdom traditions and are now experienced by thousands with dance circles and special events throughout the world.

At the Fort Collins Circle, the Dances of Universal Peace are friendly, joyful, easily done, sacred-circle dances designed to bring people together in healing peace and unity.  Many think of these dances as “moving meditations”.  Live musical accompaniment supports our singing and movements.

Everyone is welcome; participation, not performance, is the focus.  Dances are done in a circle with the Dance leader and musicians in the center.  Each dance is taught as we go so no experience is necessary.  Bring an open mind and a friendly, embracing heart and join us!

Dances are held every Thursday Evening 7:30 PM
