DANCE LEADER BIOGRAPHIES

Grace Marie
Grace Marie is an internationally acclaimed teacher of peace-making within the self and towards the multicultural global community.  She is a sacred dance teacher, group facilitator, and spiritual leader and facilitates international trainings, retreats and events, at universities, conferences, schools, elder homes, churches, etc.  She is a member teacher and mentor of the Mentors Teacher’s Guild of the non-profit organization, Peaceworks and the International Network of the Dances of Universal Peace (INDUP).  Grace teaches body movement and dance as prayer that frees the body to move with the heart and soul.  The healing power of mantras, chants, movement meditation, and other peace-making techniques from world wisdom traditions, are interwoven in her experiential workshops and can be used in the classroom and workplace.  Her latest CD, KUNDA, was recorded and produced in Peru.  She is dedicated to the attainment of self-realization of all sentient beings.   

Gregory Long
Gregory Long is a leader, drummer, composer, storyteller, and presenter of sacred dances, rituals, and retreats in the United States and Europe.  Gregory has been drumming for the Dances of Universal Peace for twelve years.  He began leading dances ten years ago and now co-leads the weekly dance meeting in Fort Collins, Colorado.  Gregory has been a member of the dance leadership team for the Wilderness Dance Camp for seven years and was the camps spiritual director for two years.  His travels have led him to Russia for the past three years, where he is a member of the dance leadership team for the Russian Summer Solstice Festival.  He served as the spiritual director for the camp in the Summer of 2002, and has been invited to return again in the same capacity in 2003.  He has released two CDs -- Padma Thunder and When Two or More are Gathered (with Pamela Robinson) and has material completed for his third release.
